About this beach
About 7 miles of sandy coastline along A1A, the highway that runs along Florida's Atlantic coast. It was a spring break mecca in the 60s and 70s, drawing up to 350,000 students a season, until the city cracked down in the mid-80s and cut that number to around 20,000; today it leans more toward resort tourism.
