About this beach
They call it Millionaires' Mile for a reason: it's home to just 1,987 residents (2020 census), almost all in mansions along A1A, Florida's coastal highway, with more than half the housing units sitting empty for much of the year. It's narrow, just 3.2 miles of developed coastline along that one road.
